Journal Guru implements industry-standard security measures: SSL/TLS Encryption, Database Encryption, JWT Authentication, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Network Firewalls.

2.2 Password Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with salt and are never stored in plain text. We recommend using strong, unique passwords and changing them regularly.

2.3 Data Backup

We maintain regular backups of all data to prevent loss due to hardware failure. Backups are stored securely with the same security measures as production data.

We collect: Account Information (name, email, credentials), Research Information (journal searches and predictions), Usage Data (IP address, browser type, pages visited), and Communication messages.

You have the right to: Access your personal data, Correct inaccurate information, Delete your account and data, Opt-out of promotional communications, and receive data portability.
